EXPO 2020 DUBAI
Connecting Minds Creating the Future
GES is currently assisting in the recruitment, training and management of interns for Expo 2020 Dubai. In cooperation with the prestigious Nan Kai University, we are recruiting and interviewing young hopefuls throughout Taiwan.
We will deliver training programs in Dubai for interns and staff to prepare them for the launch of Expo 2020 Dubai.
Global Event Staff will also provide a consultancy service to assist the interns and staff during their stay in Dubai.
For You, For Youth
GES developed and operated a successful intern program for the catering services of the Athletes’ Dining Hall and Competition Venues.
In cooperation with Nan Kai University we recruited, selected and managed approximately 700 interns from Universities and High Schools across Taiwan.
During this time we trained the interns to prepare them for catering to up to 12,000 delegations from over 130 countries in a highly complex environment.
The interns gained skills and confidence to accept the challenges of the project while receiving the maximum learning experience. This also helped the interns to boost their job prospects with this event on their resume.
Where the Passion Begins
Lilly Dawson has worked extensively in hospitality and the entertainment industry for over 20 years. Lilly was the HR General Manager for the Catering Department of the highly successful 2017 Universiade.
She also has an extensive background in casting and talent development having launched the careers of many young people globally in the entertainment industry. Lilly is based in Los Angeles and travels to Asia regularly.
Peiyi commenced her international events career as Deputy Chief of the Catering Section for 2017 Taipei Summer Universiade Organizing Committee (OC). She held this role for three years and led the successful catering service of the Athlete Village and was instrumental in the success of the Athlete Catering Intern Program at the Taipei Universiade.
Through a passion for international events, Peiyi finds her current roles and would share the experiences with young people to lead them seeing the world.
